Sawa Steakhouse Hibachi, Seafood, and Sushi Bar

I had a birthday party for my husband. I went to restraunt earlier to drop off cake. I ordered champagne and sushi rolls for the table ahead of time. My guests get there and they had to stand even though the restraunt was empty and the table was ready. We stood for half hour. Then champagne took another 20 minutes to get served in all different types of glasses. 4 flutes, martini glasses, brandi glasses etc. So embarrassing 😳 then all my guests had to wait for drinks. The soup and salad came out late. The guy who performed was hibachi was ok and food was ok. The cake was handed to us. They didn't sing happy birthday or do anything special. I spoke with the female manager/owner she literally rolled her eyes and laughed at me because I was upset over the service. I use to go at least once a month. Its gone downhill and this put me over the edge. Myself, friends and family will never go back. Plus it was really dirty. The bathroom was dirty.

Ordered pickup 2 hibachi meals and tempura veg appetizer. Checked it in car and was missing food. Went back in and was treated like it was my fault! They told me they would fix it in 5 minutes. I asked for extra yum yum sauce was told it was 1.50 I said I'm missing food and your charging 1.50! He took out 2 brown sauces from my bag and put 2 yum yum as a even exchange! It took 15 minutes for missing food! My appetizer was cold and had throw it away! Food was horrible I don't believe it was made on hibachi! I used to love this place! Never again

The food was decent. I went with my family. We got the chicken hibachi and combination hibachi (shrimp and chicken). It was ok. Needed more seasoning. Just ask for extra hibachi sauce. We got a piña colada and a blue Hawaiian. The piña colada was pretty good, the blue Hawaiian was watered down, more ice than anything. Service was really good and entertaining. The kids ages are from 5 - 14. All were entertained and did pretty good with the food options. They offer noodles for the kids if they don't want rice.

By far the best Japanese steak house in the whole area. Possibly my favorite restaurant in Youngstown! Prices are very fair and the quality of the food is absolutely outstanding! Seafood cooked to perfection... I definitely recommend the shrimp😋 You can add anything on the side to your hibachi meal for a small fee so you can have noodles, extra veggies, even extra egg. Totally customizable and absolutely delicious!!!

Went to eat at Sawa Steakhouse, it was around 11:45am, so it was not busy at all. When we arrived there wasn't anyone at the door, but we didn't have to wait long. We were seated and our order was taken immediately. We order one order of Hibachi steak and chicken and on hibachi steak and shrimp they both came with rice. The portions were a decent size.
